Terms and Condition

Eight Thousand Expedition requests please to take time to read and understand the terms and condition for any type of trip with us. Our Trips are carefully planned and conducted according to the fundamental care and principles of diligence.

  1. Booking & Payment Policy

You can book your travel trip by filling out the form available in the website or you can send by Email: – eightthousandexpedition@gmail.com customize as per your requirement.

As per the company policy, booking should be done 2-3 months prior to the travel and it is mandatory for the client to pay 20 % advance of the total cost for final reservation.

  1. Cancellation Policy

As soon as the trip is booked, the agency is required to organize staff, hotels, and transportation for the travel. Given notice of cancellation shall be submitted by the client in writing by mail with authentic reason(s), then refund procedure will be made as follows:

O Cancellation before 60 days of the trip 15% cancellation will be charged.

O Cancellation Before 30 days of the trip 25% cancellation will be charged.

O Cancellation Before 15 days of the trip 50% cancellation will be charged.

O The cost of Climbing Permits already purchased are not refundable.

In addition, the last minute booking can be done only up to one month prior to the beginning of the trip but it will involve an early payment up to 100% of the total sum depending upon the situation.

  1. Travel Insurance

Travellers must purchase comprehensive travel insurance package against medical, natural calamity, helicopter evacuation, personal accident, trip cancellation etc. It is your responsibility to ensure that the insurance cover you purchase is adequate for the particular needs of you and your party.

Eight thousand expedition doesn’t include travel insurance any case. All costs for emergency evacuation must be paid in cash in Nepal unless an insurance company has agreed to pay the costs on your behalf. This is strongly suggested to all our esteemed clients which will big help you when it is importantly needed.

  1. Early Termination of a Trek

It is sometimes the case that trekkers finish ahead of schedule or they end up stopping a trek early for health or personal reasons. If this is the case please understand that we do not offer any refunds for unused days on the trek. Our costs are the same as we have an obligation to pay our guides and porters for the time they have committed.

Besides that, if any Clients wants to make a solo travel by making own itinerary, on those conditions we do not accept term- condition him/her self-need to bear all the expenses during the trek. Would be charged an extra 15 $ per day for the porter if needed.

  1. Travel Documentation

It is your responsibility to ensure that all of the details on your travel documents are correct and to bring to our attention any errors or discrepancies immediately. It is very important and valuable for us to arrange trip document with Nepal Govt. We advise bringing personal documents like passport, ID card, insurance paper and family contact details..etc.

  1. Extra Charge

On our any type of travel packages, we guaranteed to provide quality service what cost includes. You can also understand from each package cost include and excludes. However, if the guest expects something more than we have offered in our plan, the price is sure to additional charge. Like if he-she arrives in Kathmandu earlier than per itinerary.

  1. Clients Responsible

We focus mostly and firstly for the fulfilment of your every desire. We perform our duties truthfully and seriously to make your experience one of the best moment. Also, your trek guide who represents our company deserves all authority during your trip. By booking travel with us, the client acknowledges he-she has considered the potential risks, dangers and challenges, and expressly assumes the risks attendant to such travel conditions. The Client is solely responsible for acquainting themselves with customs, weather conditions, physical challenges, and laws in effect at each stop along the itinerary, and is encouraged to locate or make contact prior to embarkation consulate at the trip destination. If you commit any unlawful act, you are compelled to leave the travel. No refund will be made in such case

  1. Complaints

It is strongly suggested that you communicate any complaint to your travel guide without delay and complete a report whilst on the travel. If satisfaction is not reached, contact the company whilst on travel in order that company provided the opportunity to rectify the matter. Complaints might not always be taken care. It will depend upon their degree and situation. If satisfaction is still not reached through these means on the trip, then any further complaint must be informed with the company soon.

  1. Delay/ cancellation domestic flight/ changes in the itinerary

The weather conditions, especially in Nepal, cannot predict perfectly, so, develop an alternative mentality in case of flight cancels and delays. Generally, all trekking route in Nepal are lies in remote areas. We advised you to make an extra reservation day to prepare with some delays and avoid frustrating consequences. In case of cancellation before the trip or after a trip the accommodation and food cost need to bear by yourself.
